The title means something similar to Elyas on thin ice, and the story is about Elyas and three of his friends in an epic battle for the right to play at the local, backyard hockey field. Bamsepanteautomat for Nationaltheatret

I haven't been this cold in a long time. It took me two days making what whas originally a glass recycling container into a recycle bin for teddybears, in minus 5 degrees and strong wind. First day the box had to be de-iced, manually offcourse. My fingers got quite num, but despite the cold the project turned out quite well in the end. Thanks to the inventor of warm cocoa, and the nice people at the National Theatre!

… from the process of designing this cabaret poster. Can't really remember why this direction was not chosen. Maybe I didn't argue very well. Now that i redicovered it I must say I really like it. Oh, well.

SO LAST YEAR, LAST YEAR

This was originally a Skin project we sent in to a christmas paper design competition. It was selected as one of 10 show pieces, but never printed. However, a good chance for recycling it came through Tonje Høyberget, a friend of mine at the time designing Utflukt #3 – 2007, an Oslo based literature magazine. She needed an illustration for a conceptual piece called Grupper (Groups), where the author had isolated all the social groups mentioned in the annual televised speach by the Norwegian prime minister. Some small adjustments and a regrouping, and Voilá!

THE OSLO GUIDE TO GAMLEBYEN

The guys at Your Friends gave me an offer I couldn't refuse: make an illustration for the alternative Oslo guide named nothing less than Oslo – the connoisseurs guide to happy living in one of the most expensive cities in the world. What would I like to promote as something really worthwhile discovering in Oslo? The result: an advert for Gamlebyen Sport og Fritid, the skatepark/ hall of fame underneath Dyvekes Bro in Gamlebyen. I've spent so much +quality+ time there, and have enormous respect for the effort put inn by Snurre Sprett and the other local ildsjels building and funding the whole park. The guide is promoted by the Bylarm festival 2009 and was released at their opening concert. Ball pen on paper. Easy does it!
