Ensemble Fanfaronner

Here's one from last year, I still like it so why not post it now? It's in gouache, lipstick, pencil, ink and cut out paper. A real fun project for a real fun bunch of girls. Their show named “Fanfaronene og den dumme, dumme kjærligheten” was linked to the European cabaret tradition, reflecting the humour, but also the controversial political themes of the genre. The show was performed all over the west of Norway.

Souldrop stationary

Bensinstasjon has created stationary for Bergen based music producers Souldrop. We've developed logo and illustration elements, and set things up to get a nicely crafted, unique and highly recognizable visual identity.

Byrom i et portrom

Byrom i et portrom is a small yearly happening at Dattera til Hagen in Oslo, Bensinstasjon contributed to this years mural, together with our good friends Res (YMF crew: graff), Rita (Stencils) and Christin (photographic prints) We blended our styles and had three nights of great fun. The opening day there was also a second hand-market and then the kick off for a three days music mini fest. Good fun!

Hovefestivalen 2007

Late, but good. Pictures from this summers Hove Music Festival in the South of Norway. Bensinstasjon created a signage system for the festival area roughly based on the festival identity, but with our own flavour to it. We wanted to gather information on easy-to-find towers, separate them from existing signs and create funny meeting points. The typo is Kada on used wood.
